A. Background & Definitions
Dossier: Structured and categorized collection of various quality-related items, such as protocols and training records that are developed and stored by a research unit as solutions to challenges specific to their needs.
B. Guidance & Expectations
Folders and documents that are no longer of use should not be deleted per se to protect loss of information and maintain transparency. It is advisable to
- mark the items as not needed anymore
- add a short explanation why the item is not important anymore
- archive the the items in a dedicated space
Please do not forget * to make sure that deleting the item will not affect data quality.
- to document for important items why this change was neccessary.
